The Light

THE LIGHT

When it looks like hope is gone

and there's nowhere left to turn

Walls of security seem to fall

and the fires surround and burn.

There's a light across the darkness

though tiny it shines bold

It gives you hope in knowing

that God is in control.

God is always in control, He knows every circumstance

Every sorrow, every joy, nothing happens just by chance.

Keep your eye on the Light, and follow where it leads,

As you search for the way, the Light is all you need.

When the road ahead looks long

with no ending in your sight

And you're weary from the journey

start looking for the Light.

He will guide your every step

when you don't know what to do

Though it won't always be easy

The Light will lead you through.
