I don't really have a subject in mind to write about today, so I'll just tell about my weekend. Saturday was a cold, cloudy day, so hubby and I just planned to stay home. He made a fire in the fireplace and we were enjoying a quiet afternoon. I was in the recliner reading my book and he was on the couch doing some schoolwork and that's when my sister called. She asked if they could stop by our house and dry her kids' hair since they had taken them swimming and had a few errands to run. Well, after they got to my house with the nice cozy fire, the kids didn't want to leave. I have a few things for them to play with and they were having fun. So, my husband and my sister's husband went to Krispy Kreme and bought some donuts for us all to eat. Then we all watched a Little Rascals video that's one of my favorites. After visiting for a while, we told my sister and her husband to go ahead to run their errands and the kids could stay and play at our house. We love these precious kids, my nieces and nephew, and I'm so glad that they like coming to my house. We had a fun afternoon. When they started to leave, my sister said they really hadn't planned to make us babysit, and then she said, "I know I'll read all about this on your blog!" So, thanks, Angie, for giving me something to blog about today!

Such a nice day spent with your nieces and nephew! :-))) Plus with a fire in the fireplace. It always looks cozy with a fire in the fireplace.
And I LOVE your verse choice for today! It strengthens me. ;-D

Sounds like a great Saturday. Little Rascals! I had forgotten how much I used to love watching them! I bet the my girls don't even know who they are.... I might just have to do something about that:)
I'm so jealous! Our closest relative is almost 3,000 miles away! How fun to be with family!

Kispy Kreme, I love them.
What a great blessing that the kids enjoy staying with you.
I guess Krispy Kremes will have to do. Ann's Pastry Shop in Wadsworth, Ohio is too far for you to drive.
There is an award waiting for you at my blog.
By the way, your hubby's Krispy Kreme card is still in our vehicle. Remind us to give it to you next time we see you.
