It's almost time for our family vacation to be here and we have not even decided where to go or what to do. I need some help in deciding where we should go. Of course, I would love to go to the beach, either Panama City, Orange Beach, or even Clearwater. However, I know that the beach is not Eddie's favorite place to go and that is why I put him in charge of planning this vacation. He thought about taking us to Chicago because he had been there recently and saw a play called "Wicked". He really enjoyed the play and wanted to take us to see it. I thought Chicago would be a good place to go also because the Cubs are his favorite baseball team and since Eddie's 50th birthday falls during our vacation, I thought it would be great for him to get to go to Wrigley Field to see a Cubs game. But he was not able to find three tickets together for the game. Other places he thought about going was New York City, or Washington D.C. We have been to the Smoky Mountains many times and would proably rather do something different this year, even though we love the mountains.
So, help me out. We are running out of time and we need to decide where to go. Give me suggestions!
Thankful Thursday

*For vacations spots....*this is just me....but i would suggest going to NYC. While you were there you could check out a Broadway and then visit Chinatown *and all that good jazz.
i went there last year on spring break and i ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE. I'm anticipating my next vacation there...
*well, that's just my opinion
:)
I suggest Chicago, partly because I'm biased due to the fact that I live there!! There's plenty of stuff to do if you decide to to go there I'd be happy to give you suggestions!

Hey, im from the UK, so i'd suggest you come over here! lol (although that is quite a long way!)
BTW I really like that band you recommended (a plea for purging), saw that your son is the dummmer, he puts down some awesome beats!
I just got married in march and my husband and I went on a cruise through Jamaica and the Grand Cayman Islands. In the ports you can go hike the mountains, just shop, eat or whatever you want(lay on the beach). We went on a Carnival cruise, the food was great and they have some really fun shows the cast puts on at night. But they have a time line you have to schedule by so there is just an idea. Good luck!
I wish I could help, but I've never been to America. I really want to go though, I here so much about it. I have a few friends who recently took part in a school conference in New York - and they loved every moment of it.
Also, thanks for the link to the band - they're pretty good, I visited their website.
cheerio,
