Do you and your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend have a song that you call "our song"? Back when Eddie and I were dating, I had a song book with a lot of the popular songs of the day. We liked Elton John a lot back then and one of his songs was in that book. I would play the piano and Eddie would sing the song and he really sounded a lot like Elton John. Those were really special times for us. That song sort of became "our song" and the name of it is "Your Song". Even today, after being married over 27 years, I can listen to that song and it brings back all those feelings you get when you're first falling in love. Do you and yours have a special song?

I really never thought about whether we have an "our song". I guess if I were to choose it would have to be Kenny Rogers' "Lady" as it was playing in the background when my husband proposed.

I love "Your Song"! It's one of my favorite Elton John songs along with "Tiny Dancer". My husband and I have a song. It's from the movie Urban Cowboy which came out before we got together, but we rented it not long after we started dating, and bought the soundtrack. We played the songs in the car a lot, and "Love, Look What You've Done To Me" by Boz Scaggs became our song that way.
I LIKE that song. ;-D I think it's SO nice that you got to play the piano and Eddie sang this song. Mmmm...what a combination! ;-D
Well, since Arttu and I didn't have a normal courtship, it's hard to say whether we have our song or not...but he sent me a song lyric and burned the song in a CD for me...and I LOVE that song since it was about a long distance relationship he he he...;-D So I guess it could be our song. ;-D
