I like to watch T.V. - there, the truth is out! I don't want to like to watch T.V. because there are so many other things I could be doing that would be a better way to spend my time. But....I grew up watching T.V. and I still enjoy it. I do have a hard time finding things I like, though, but I'll mention some of my favorite shows. I kinda find myself navigating toward the TVland channel because it shows some of the good old classics that were around when I was a kid. My all-time favorite show is The Andy Griffith Show -- the black and white ones with Barney. In my opinion, they'll never again be able to come up with any show better than that one. I also still love to watch Leave it to Beaver. These shows just take you to another time, another place even though they are a little bit unrealistic. And of course, I Love Lucy was always another favorite. Lucy could get herself into the craziest situations! There aren't really any regular current shows that I just have to watch every week. I do let myself get caught up in American Idol when it is on, and Big Brother when it is on. At one time I tried to get into Lost because people at work were talking about it, but it was hard for me to have time to sit through an hour-long show.
I enjoy watching reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond and Seinfeld. I've also started watching The Office when I remember it. I think the comedy in Seinfeld and The Office is a new kind of comedy that I didn't see in the old shows. I enjoy this kind of comedy, maybe because my kids like stuff like that. If you enjoy shows like The Office, I think you would really like Matt's blog, Mom Yelled My Full Name Last Night. His title alone makes you want to see what his blog is about. I have to check it out every day because it makes me laugh. Matt has a way of writing that sounds like he's just talking in a conversation, but the way he says things is just so funny! And then the comments that his readers leave are nearly as funny as his posts. I hope he keeps posting in his blog for a long time because I love getting my daily dose of laughter from this unique young man.

I'm a TVland watcher too.
Hmmm...I like watching TV, too, if there are my fave series or comedy there he he he...
I also love watching movies with my hubby. ;-D Horrors, suspense, thriller, comedy, cartoons, adventures...He doesn't like dramas, though, so I'll always watch dramas alone he he he...
I used to see I Love Lucy back in Indo (they aired it for a short while), but unfortunately I can't find it here.
I'd better check Matt's blog, then. I want some laughs, too hi hi hi...
Thanks Kathy, you turned my Monday into a Friday. I feel some pressure now, hope I can continue to bring the good stuff. I just posted, it was ok. Oh yeah, tell your daughter I said hey. Tell her I work at NASA too, ha. Have the most amazing Monday ever.
Sandi, I'm glad to know someone else out there likes TVLand.
Amel, I like watching movies with my hubby, too, but I usually end up falling asleep.

My favorite guilty pleasure is MASH. I have all 11 seasons on DVD but will still watch it in the evening on Hallmark.
Kathy-Thank you for reading my blogs.
Hi hi hi...then you're like my sister-in-law. She said that whenever she watched movies with her family, she always ended up falling asleep midway hi hi hi...
I'm not a TVLand fan but, you're right, you can never go wrong with Seinfeld.
I'd invite you to my site, but I saw your blog entry on Christianity and feel that maybe the site might rub you the wrong way - it's fun, but not in a good, squeaky clean way. I suppose if you're hitting the confessional every week anyway, my site might be worth a shot.
Looks like you have a good following. Nice job.

Frasypoo, no need to ever feel guilty again! I wonder if it's wrong to wear red to a wedding?
74wixygrad, I'm glad you stopped by. Funny how you can never get too much of some favorite old shows!
Amel, yes my husband thinks I've never seen the ending of any movie.
