We were in a really nice restaurant, and were prepared to pay (it's the kind of place you don't go to without making sure you have enough first!)
when the waitress told my husband our dinner had been "taken care of" by the gentleman at the bar.
We were a little creeped out by it but my husband went over to speak to the guy and he just said he was watching us and we reminded him of his family at one time. I got the feeling it wasn't the first time he had paid for a stranger's meal.Ninahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08468768728036792454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848063095827756704.post-23203845571322363562007-09-10T11:17:00.000-05:002007-09-10T11:17:00.000-05:00What a wonderful example of how God takes care of ...What a wonderful example of how God takes care of His children.

BTW-Fried Chicken happen to be one of my favorites.Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11520419892602571761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848063095827756704.post-6735893336975350032007-09-10T10:17:00.000-05:002007-09-10T10:17:00.000-05:00Hi again Kathy,Most of the stuff I buy I end up se...Hi again Kathy,
Most of the stuff I buy I end up selling! It has turned out to be good pocket money!Thats why I look for designer/well known brandsFrasierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11855104479614125294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848063095827756704.post-87549746411333752432007-09-10T09:07:00.000-05:002007-09-10T09:07:00.000-05:00GREAT post, Kathy! It makes me smile, esp. when reading your personal story.

This post also reminds me of my Mom's stories of how God provided for them at the nick of the time whenever they had money trouble. ;-DAmelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16792921371964029469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848063095827756704.post-33994980547210924992007-09-09T23:31:00.000-05:002007-09-09T23:31:00.000-05:00Great post ! I was goibng to do a review on a book called As You Sow by Bill Bright ( Campus Crusade) to show a different persepctive to "getting" money ie money will come in as you give in faith.

For me, I made a promise that I will give $500 to the little community hospital I was talking about even though I knew I would have no salary for while and expected to have to dig inot my savings to continue the giving. But since then, from generous dividends from my shares and an unexpected bonus, I have not run short of money to give ( or to spend on myself) !Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05241531415383301568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848063095827756704.post-4013261436912026582007-09-09T21:38:00.000-05:002007-09-09T21:38:00.000-05:00Oh Kathy, what a sweet story.God blessed both you a...Oh Kathy, what a sweet story.God blessed both you and your husband and the person who did it.
My husband does stuff like that all the time and it suprises me because it is not something I would think of...
God will talk to him and he will walk upto absolute strangers and give them a specific amt of money and you will be suprised at their reaction. It is always what the needed. He pays peoples bills at restaurant.

On a lighter note:My favorite place is Hartz chicken in Phenix cityFrasierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11855104479614125294noreply@blogger.com
