The first time I read it - I had to stop close to the end because I couldn't see the pages for crying! If you have not read any of Karen Kingsbury - you need to. The Redemption Series and the Firstborn Series are absolutely phenomenal. Also the 2 books about 9/11 are must reads! Actually - everything I have read of hers have been wonderful. She is an awesome Christian author!Missyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04018768293766814480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848063095827756704.post-709768800563167542007-08-05T14:36:00.000-05:002007-08-05T14:36:00.000-05:00you might want to try History of Love by Nicole Kr...you might want to try History of Love by Nicole Krauss. one of my faves. and of course, there's Roth's The Human Stain.

check out our art/writing blog on the creative process if you're interested in what's behind the writing...

http://SubmergingArtists.blogspot.comThe Groovy Trainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05708654380168619215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848063095827756704.post-58926767339255330022007-08-05T04:20:00.000-05:002007-08-05T04:20:00.000-05:00Here are two books, which I've recently read, and,...Here are two books, which I've recently read, and, think you'll enjoy.

Any book by Jodi Picoult, (Particularly, "My Sister Keeper," or, "The Tenth Circle.")

Also, "The Witch of Portobello," by Paulo Coelho, will keep you turning pages, while at the same time, giving you lot's to think upon ~~it is a fansinating book, of many voices.

Picoult & Coelho, both challenge our perceptions/assumptions of their characters, through the use of POV [point of view]. Their books tell the story, through the voice of each individual character.

This makes for a very enjoyable read.

Have a great Summer.

best wishes,
b.Beginning with "B"https://www.blogger.com/profile/16120411943021245443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848063095827756704.post-64608007322882172532007-08-04T12:45:00.000-05:002007-08-04T12:45:00.000-05:00Thanks Katie!
